Measuring Guide For Leg Compression Stockings
When? |
Where possible, it is recommended to measure in the morning, when legs are rested and swelling is at a minimum. |
How? |
Measurements to be taken using a tape measure (cm only) with the patient standing. For below knee garments, the patient can be measured when sitting. It is recommended that measurements are taken on a bare leg. |

It is recommended to measure the arm when it is in a relaxed position. The length is measured on the outstretched arm. |
